Eat The Frog

Privacy policy

Last updated October 7, 2026.

Eat The Frog collects nothing. Your frogs, your streak and your history stay on your iPhone.

What the app stores

Everything you type into the app: the frogs, their sizes, dates, first bites and treats, the bites they’re broken into, and the record of each frog you eat. It’s kept in the app’s own storage on your phone. Delete the app and it’s gone.

What leaves your phone

Nothing. There’s no account, no server, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The developer can’t see anything you put in the app.

“Break it up” uses Apple’s on-device language model. The frog’s title and first bite are processed on your iPhone and aren’t sent anywhere.

Reminders, like the evening check-in and drop-dead dates, are local notifications scheduled on your phone.

If iCloud sync is added

A later version may sync your frogs between your devices through your own private iCloud database. That data would sit in your iCloud account under Apple’s privacy terms, and the developer still couldn’t read it. This page will say so before that ships.

TestFlight

While the app is in beta, Apple’s TestFlight may share crash reports and any feedback you choose to send with the developer. That’s covered by Apple’s TestFlight terms.

Children

The app isn’t aimed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
